Sounds like the event was super cool! Sorry I missed it. My brain actually is something like a point operation that floats around—but the way it flops doesn't involve much speed.

Wow! Thank you Fred, Mary, and everyone involved getting this tour together. Absolutely fascinating to see one of the world's fastest computers. Petaflops, megawatts, megagallons! The poster showing the projects and the lobby flags made me feel like many earthlings are indeed working together. Please convey my thanks to Buddy Bland for showing us the facilities and answering all our questions, and the person who greeted us when we arrived.

Dear Colleagues,

Ever think you would have the opportunity to see THE Titan—not the movie fake?! This is the real deal. Fred O’Hara arranged a tour for Thursday evening, 5:30 pm, at a place to be published if you get your name in now.

See the flyer for RSVP details! This is one time you will want to read the fine print. The opportunity came up fast. Send Fred the details listed. There is room for only 20 people, so decide now.

See you there!

Mary
