Hello Club Geographers,
Well the semester is almost over and those in attendance to last week's meeting have decided to do one more final get together before we all separate for the holidays. We will be meeting at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria on Tuesday, December 2 at 7 p.m. in the Old City. Those who are under 21 can also join so no worries there. As always, graduate students and faculty are welcome to join us!
I'd also like to take the time to thank everyone who have volunteered or participated in any way with Club Geography this semester. We have accomplished quite a bit this semester from advertising for the National Geographic event to co-hosting three structural violence panels and lectures alongside the Sociology Student Committee and the Global Studies Club. We even were able to paint the rock for this past week's Geography Awareness Week! Of course, we've had some fun as well with our hike to the Hensley Settlement as well as winning the Mellow Mushroom Trivia Night back in September!
Again, I cannot thank you all enough for volunteering and participating in these events and I am looking forward to what we will accomplish next semester!
