Subject: [UTASC] IUC programs in Japanese and Chinese language study

Hi all,

I have received flyers and postcards calling for applicants to the:

Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies: http://ieas.berkeley.edu/iup/
This program has summer, fall, spring and academic year-long periods of study and is located in Beijing at Tsinghua (Qinghua) University

and the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies: https://web.stanford.edu/dept/IUC/cgi-bin/
This program offers only a 10-month study option in Yokohama

For both of these programs, two years of language study is required as a pre-requisite.

There is also a Nippon Foundation Fellows Program for students in Ph.D. and MA programs at the IUC in Japan
