The UT versus Alabama game is less than two weeks
away—set for Saturday, October 25, in Neyland Stadium. Make sure you are in the
Rocky Top Rowdies student section by requesting your $10 ticket on Big Orange Tix today through Wednesday,
October 13 through 15.

and interview skills, and promote Career Services to other students as a trained Peer Career
Advisor. Attend an information session to learn more at 4:00 p.m. on October 21 or 22 at

The T will run on a limited schedule during fall break.
On Thursday and Friday, an access van for individuals with disabilities will service the
campus community during the day. The Hill, Neyland Express, and Fort Routes will not
operate. A T link evening van will also operate. Regular service will resume on Sunday.

campus or expands on an existing program? Need help funding the project? The UT Alliance
of Women Philanthropists is accepting grant applications for its Giving Circle grants
program. Applications are due November 21. Grants range from $2,500 to $25,000. For

Would you like to help new students transition to UT?
Use your leadership skills and your Big Orange pride to welcome more than 12,000 new
students and parents to campus by serving as an Orientation Leader. Help guide admitted
students and their families through several one- and two-day orientation sessions
throughout the year. Applications are due November 5.

The JDRF East Tennessee Chapter needs volunteers for
its James Bond-themed gala on Saturday, November 8. JDRF’s mission is to find a
cure for Type 1 Diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The East
Tennessee Chapter serves forty-seven counties, raising almost $1.5 million every year.

A costume pet parade with prizes, activities, food
trucks, dog rescue groups, pet businesses, educational booths, and a K-9 demo—all
happening at this year’s Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade and Pet Expo. Stop by with
your four-legged friend or come on your own and explore. The event is from 2:00 to 5:00
p.m. this Sunday at the UT Gardens.
