Dr. Kalafsky,

I am reaching out to you to let you know that next week the International House is presenting a global issue week focused on issues surrounding water resources. I believe this program may be of interest to you and your students in the Geography Club. Attached is a poster for the week and here is a run down of the events:

Tuesday, October 21st
Screening of the documentary FLOW: For the Love Of Water – sheds light on the privatization and how corporations are involved in water resources
I-House Great Room, 6:00pm-7:30pm

Wednesday, October 22nd
Water Walk on Pedestrian – experience how many people around the world walk for water everyday; stop by in between or after classes to gain a perspective
Pedestrian Walkway, 11:00am-2:00pm

Wednesday, October 22nd
Talk with TivaWater and Panel Discussion – TivaWater, a Knoxville non-profit, developed an at-home water filter for communities with access to clean, healthy water.
