Tim Errington, Center for Open Science, to Speak during Open Access Week

Tim Errington of the Center for Open Science will speak Thursday, Oct. 23, 1:30-3:00 p.m., in 213 Hodges Library. Errington will discuss the challenge of increasing open science practices. He
will also introduce SHARE, the SHared Access Research Ecosystem, a higher education and research community initiative to ensure the preservation of, access to, and reuse of research outputs.
Errington's talk will be followed by a 5th anniversary celebration for Trace, UT's open-access digital repository of research and creative work. Join us for cake in the Mary Greer Room (258
Hodges Library), 3:00-4:00 p.m.
