Subject: Jose Aponte

This Wednesday evening Jose Aponte, Director of the San Diego County Public Library will speak at 5:45 PM in the McClung Museum Auditorium.  Mr. Aponte’s keynote address will undoubtedly be informative and entertaining.  As a prominent librarian Mr. Aponte is known nationally as a dynamic speaker who moves his audience in unexpected ways with song, stories and antics.  I have heard him speak on several occasions and each time he has provided unique insights on his topics. The theme of this year’s diversity week is “Mapping  Your Journey” which serves as a timely message for Mr. Aponte to deliver.
