Subject: Social/networking event, Friday, September 12, 4-6 at Suttree's High Gravity Tavern

Yes, we have THE very thing every technical communicator needs for a successful career, and YOU can be the proud owner if you are one of the first 20 people (or couples) to attend.

And what might that be, you ask? A tablet? A style guide? A crystal ball (getting closer)? No, none of those things, dear Muggle! But when Dementor Deadlines loom, only you will be able to survive IF you have this item. When impenetrable texts cross your desk for editing, you will be ready with the power of Evanesco and Expectopatronum. And our out-of-town and out-of-state members who wish to apparate back to Knoxville will have the power to do so in an eye blink.

Place: Suttree’s High Gravity Tavern, 409 South Gay Street, Knoxville, TN, 37902

Time:  4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Purpose: To meet and greet chapter members and wanna be’s! Bring colleagues.

Cost: Totally up to you

Food: Think “pre-dinner”—appetizers and sandwiches; they can cater to individual needs

Drink: Craft beer oriented, but they have juice and soft drinks too

Parking: Local garages in the area

I leave you with these words of wisdom: Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus.

PLEASE do RSVP to [log in to unmask] if you have not already done so.

Thanks! See you there.

Mary
