The Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, University of Central Florida, College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida is seeking applicants for a team-oriented, technology embracing
reference librarian. The successful candidate will work with the Public Services Librarian in providing reference and instructional support to health sciences library patrons. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in providing literature searches,
managing circulation desk activities, tracking usage statistics, and troubleshooting technology issues. Finally, the candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing materials for library outreach.
Required: ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science (MLS or MLIS). Academy of Health Information Professionals
(AHIP) certification required within three years of hire.
Preferred: One-year experience working in a health sciences or medical library.
