Reader Advisor, Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. (Full time, regular)
TSLA also operates a free library program of Braille, recorded and large print materials, available to residents of Tennessee who are not able to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability. The Library Assistant 4 will perform para-professional work, assisting library patrons with book selection.
Archival Cataloger (Full time, one year only)
Professional position in the Archival Technical Services Section responsible for original cataloging of archival collections and items and assisting in ensuring the accuracy of TSLA’s public access catalog.
Supreme Court Records Processing Assistant (Part-time, one year only)
Four positions open. Process historic Tennessee Supreme Court case files as part of a larger processing team. Tasks include document analysis, data entry, basic cleaning, and housing of case files. $20/week. $12/hour.
Archival Bar-Coding Assistants (Part-time, one year only)
Three positions open. Work as part of a team to barcode the State Library & Archives’ archival collections. 20 hours/week. $10/hour.
