Missouri River Regional Library Board (MRRL) seeks energetic, creative, skilled leader to serve as Director, population 90,000, circulation 628,000, collection 243,400 items, 59 staff, budget 3.1 million, serves Cole & Osage counties in Central Missouri. Director responsible for administration & operation of library system. Requirements: MLS/MLIS degree from ALA accredited institution, 10 years professional public library experience; minimum 5 years supervisory/managerial experience in public library. Proven fiscal management experience; ability to effectively plan & use library technology; thorough knowledge of public library service & HR management. Strong work ethic, integrity, commitment to serve as Library’s advocate in community; ability to inspire community support & possess excellent human relations skills. Experience with library building project, levy proposals preferred. Salary $80,000 negotiable based on experience.
