Student Appreciation Day Student-Only Football Practice

Meet #Team118 and Coach Butch Jones during Student Appreciation Day at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Neyland Stadium. You will receive giveaways, student rewards T-credits, and premium seating for a first look at the team during this student-only practice. 


UTPD Receives Grant for Campus Educational Programs

Vacationland College Tour Stops at UT This Weekend

The Sperry Top-Sider Vacationland College Tour arrives on campus Saturday with performances by Sam Hunt, the Mowgli's, the Colourist, and MisterWives, as well as contests, photo booths, prize wheel, and lawn games. The event is from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Humanities Ampitheater.

Sign Up for New Year-Round Housing Option Beginning Fall 2014

If you are staying in Knoxville year-round, you now have the option for a twelve-month housing contract that begins this fall. The new option offers Laurel Hall residency for a full year, without closing for academic breaks.


Cone Zone: City of Knoxville's Cumberland Avenue Project

The Cumberland Avenue Project could begin as early as June 1. The first phase of the street redesign is an estimated six-month construction project that will ease traffic clogs between 22nd Street and Alcoa Highway. We will continue to update you on the project's progress and it's impact on areas around our campus.


Reserve a Spot for OUTReach's Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation is a celebration of the accomplishments of LGBTQQIA students graduating in spring, summer, or fall 2014. The event is set for April 24 at the Black Cultural Center. Friends and family are invited to attend. If you would like to reserve a spot for the celebration, click here.

Volunteer for Zoo's Magical Makebelieve Event

The Knoxville Zoo needs volunteers from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 26 for their Magical Makebelieve event. You will dress in costumes provided by the zoo to greet and take pictures with young guests.

Join Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan, as well as female athletes from around the globe, to learn about women's empowerment through sports and diplomacy.


Big Orange Adventure Scavenger Hunt

Saturday, 9:00 a.m., Pedestrian Walkway, $15 registration
Find the finish line for a chance to win the Graduate Student Senate's Big Orange Adventure scavenger hunt. Participants will race around campus, searching for clues and completing tasks in order to figure out the location of the finish line. 


Greek Beat

Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thompson-Boling Arena Room C-D, $10 online or $15 at door
Cheer on members of UT's Greek community at the dance competition to help raise funds to build a school for the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation. All proceeds benefit the foundation.
