SIS students:

Here are opportunities worth jumping for! See the links below to multiple, well-paid summer internships with the Dept. of Energy through the Office of Science's Pathways Internships program. These can be done at one of many possible locations, including Oak Ridge, Washington DC, multiple Virginia cities, and others. The application deadline is tomorrow, March 14, so submit your online application right away. All you need is a resume and your status as a student.

Applicants or interested students are welcome to contact SIS alum Lynn  Davis ('94) directly to learn more about the internships. Her email is [log in to unmask]

Good luck!
Kitty

P.S. Thanks to alum Matthew Jordan for passing these on.

Hello Matthew,

I am a ’94 graduate of the UT IS program and wish to broadly share with IS students the list of job opportunities below for part- or full-time temporary positions (“summer”).  Thus, could you please forward this as possible?  The window for submitting applications to www.USAjobs.gov is brief, ending tomorrow, Friday, March 14.  When applying, it would be helpful for students to tie their background with the position description whether it be Student Trainee (Writing and Editing) or (Business and Industry) or (Physical Sciences), etc.  Those links will enable IS students to apply and make it possible to be considered by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) in Oak Ridge as we seek to fill 2-3 summer intern positions.

If I can answer questions, it would be helpful for them to come through a single IS Program point of contact.

Sincerely,

Lynn Davis
