The George A. Smathers Libraries seeks a creative and service-oriented liaison librarian at the Health Science Center Library. The liaison librarian provides reference assistance and consultations,
instruction, outreach, and collection management for assigned departments and programs in the Academic Health Center. This tenure track faculty position serves as a member of the Biomedical and Health Information Services team, and provides services in a variety
of modes (in person, email, “house calls”.) The position is responsible for special projects as assigned, such as collection reviews, development of web-based resources, and service evaluation. The library encourages staff participation in reaching management
decisions and, consequently, the liaison librarian will be asked to serve on various committees and teams. The liaison librarian performs scholarly research and provides service at the institutional and professional levels as related to assignment and in accordance
with tenure and promotion criteria.

for tenure and promotion.
