Call for Posters for the Symposium on Diversity in LIS Education
Friday, April 11, 2014

We are pleased to announce that the Symposium on Diversity in LIS Education that will take place on April 11, 2014 will host a poster session. The poster session is meant to highlight current research that focuses on diversity issues within the field of information science and also unique projects or programs created to serve one or more specific diverse populations. The foci for this year’s symposium are Advocacy, Outreach, and Inclusion. We welcome all applicants whose research and initiatives encompass or are related to these themes.

The posters for the Diversity in LIS Symposium are neither refereed nor judged. However, participants will receive valuable feedback on their projects in an informal setting. This is an excellent opportunity to enrich and possibly extend your research/projects through the feedback you receive as well as to meet potential collaborators for your research interests. Since space for poster display is limited, we will continue to accept poster proposals on a first-come, first-served basis. So, turn in your proposal today!

About the Symposium on Diversity in LIS Education
