Looking for new ways to support and encourage science, technology,
engineering, and math, and arts exploration at your library?

This course will explore practical ways you can provide an array of
learning experiences and engage the curiosity of those in your community of
all ages around these topics. We will examine:

   - Programming options
   - Dedicated spaces and interactive displays
   - Collection development
   - Developing and designing STEAM learning experiences

Course participants will leave the course with a wealth of practical ideas
to implement at their library and within their community.

Bonnie Roalsen <http://alanis.simmons.edu/ceweb/instructor.php?id=15> is
Head of Children's Services at the Dover Town Library, and an Independent
Consultant specializing in mobile technology, digital literacy, creative
programming, and youth services. Bonnie was named a Library Journal Mover &
Shaker in 2007 for her work incorporating digital media and tools into
public library service.
