The East Tennessee Library Association presents The 43rd annual Mary Utopia Rothrock Lecture and Dinner A Lecture by Bradley Reeves and Louisa Trott: "Moving History: Our Audiovisual Heritage" Thursday April 3, 2014 - East Tennessee History Center, Knoxville, Tennessee You are cordially invited to the 43rd annual Mary Utopia Rothrock Lecture and Dinner. This year we are honored to welcome Bradley Reeves and Louisa Trott, co-founders of the Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound (TAMIS), which is now part of the McClung Historical Collection of the Knox County Public Library. The archive is dedicated to locating, preserving, and providing access to the moving image and recorded sound heritage of Tennessee. Reeves and Trott will speak on the importance of preserving regional audiovisual heritage while offering the audience a taste of the many wonderful treasures they've uncovered, from local television and radio to commercials and home movies... an evening not to be missed!
