The UTK Office of Research & Engagement and the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy will host Dr. Timothy Persons, Chief Scientist of the U. S. Government Accountability Office, on Tuesday, March 25, 5:00 p.m., Baker Center, Toyota Room.   Dr. Persons will present on GAO’s public release of “Nanomanufacturing: Emergence and Implications for U. S. Competitiveness, the Environment, and Human Health” (GAO-14-181SP). 

 

Dr. Persons is also a member of the Senior Executive Service of U. S. Federal Government.  He is the Co-Director of GAO’s Center for Science, Technology, and Engineering (CSTE) and expert advisor and chief consultant to the GAO, Congress, and other federal agencies and government programs.
