Performs library research for faculty and on-line computer searches using MEDLINE. Catalogs books, periodicals and journals according to standard medical library practices and procedures. Responsible for acquisitions. Coordinates with University libraries in research and acquisitions. Performs in-house and online research for faculty, residents and staff. Helps users with online databases and other materials available from the University libraries. Collects and organizes material related to department’s history. Provides content in several areas for department’s website(s). This position will manage the Medical Library on the new regional medical campus in Montgomery. It will support faculty, staff, residents, and students. (Annual Salary Range: $41,038 - $52,936 - $64,834) ***Please note this position will be located on the Montgomery Regional Medical Campus*** Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Library Sciences and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a medical or university library.
