Greetings C&Hers,
This Saturday is our community service event at Frozen Head State Park! We will be meeting at 9:15am and leaving at 9:30am Saturday (Feb. 22) from Lot 66 (on the Ag Campus). If you don't know how to get there let me know. If you are not on the list
and want to go you can let me know or just show up before 9:30, though notice would be nice. If you are not able to go I would really appreciate notice but it will not be anything against you if you don't. If you do come we will be buying dinner at Barley's
for you after the service.
Once again we really appreciate any and all help we can get. Doing community service allows us to give back to the community that our organization is a major part of.
We should arrive to the park around 10:30am. Depending on weather, we will start working around 11 in the morning. We will be working on widening trail, building some rock steps in places, and digging water bars to aid in erosion control. It is recommended
that you be prepared for possible cold weather and wet conditions (It's supposed to be in the upper 50s/lower 60s). Gloves and tools will be provided, but you will need to bring your own snacks and water. Each person will also need to fill out a volunteer
form and release of liability form in order to use the park's tools.
