Hi all.
We have had several UT students attend this and they nada  great experience.   Although it says IS students, OII has honored a multidisciplinary approach in the past and chosen students who also do research in internet issues from aligned fields.

Dear friends,

The deadline for applications to this year’s Oxford Internet Institute Summer Doctoral Programme is the 24th February, so I would be really grateful if you could pass this reminder on to any students who might be eligible to apply.

The Programme will be held in Oxford from 7th-18th July 2014, and is suitable for PhD students at the dissertation stage of their degree. The programme offers two weeks of intensive teaching from senior faculty at the OII, as well as some guest speakers, who will offer insights into their research processes and tuition on methods as well as presenting substantive papers. Students will also be asked to present on their own research.. We also fit in some punting, a ghost tour and some fancy dinners… The overall aims are to help improve students’ dissertations and to develop a cohesive peer network for future collaboration and support.

For further information on this year’s SDP, including application instructions, please see our website at: http://www.oii.ox.ac.uk/graduatestudy/sdp/Y2014.cfm

If anyone has any questions, feel free to e-mail me directly.

Many thanks!
