The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching two courses each semester including Bibliographic Organization and Resource Development, Introduction to Cataloging and Classification, Advanced Cataloging and Classification, and/or Electronic Description of Archival Materials. We are looking for an energetic scholar who enjoys teaching and mentoring students to join our faculty in August, 2014. The Assistant Professor will teach graduate classes and develop a program of research, scholarship and grantsmanship consistent with the mission of the School and a Research-Very High institution. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in a related field (ABD candidates may apply); a record of excellence in research and publishing; demonstrated ability to teach effectively; strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
