The H.W. Wilson Foundation, Inc. announces its scholarship program for
2014 with a total $140,000 to be divided equally among 14 ALA accredited
programs.

*New York, November 2013*

The Board of Directors of the H.W. Wilson Foundation has announced
continuation of its support of education in library and information
science with a new round of scholarship grants.

For over 50 years H.W. Wilson has supported U.S. and Canadian library
and information science patrons accredited by the American Library
Association. This is the third year of a four year program which will
send $580,000 over four years to assist qualified students to enter the
profession in the U.S. and Canada.

The following programs will each receive a check for $10,000 for 2014:

Kent State University
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
San Jose University University of North Texas
Simmons College
University of Rhode Island
State University of New York, Albany
University of South Carolina
University of Alberta
University of Texas at Austin
University of Arizona
University of Western Ontario
University of British Columbia
Wayne State University

Each program may distribute its grant in accordance with its own
scholarship criteria as well as divide the total sum to accommodate its
particular needs. Any program which receives accreditation in any year
will receive a grant the year following accreditation.

The following programs are scheduled to receive grants in 2015
