[TLA] Access Services Supervisor position [revised and re-advertised] - ETSU Sherrod Library, Johnson City, TN Job Summary/Basic Function: REVISED AND RE-ADVERTISED Coordinates, develops and oversees departmental operations including daily ILL transaction processing, e-reserves, and document delivery scanning. Assists in monitoring compliance with copyright regulations regarding ILL transaction processing, e-reserves, and document delivery scanning. Assists patrons with questions concerning submission, verification, retrieval, and delivery of interlibrary loan requests and materials. Works with Interlibrary Loan Librarian to establish and evaluate policies and procedures. Assists Interlibrary Loan Librarian in collecting and maintaining statistics pertinent to the departments' services. Creates, distributes, and maintains training and support resources for the department. Continually seeks new ways to improve workflow and better utilize student workers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Ability to search online catalogs, abstracting and indexing databases; Google Scholar and WorldCat. -Strong detail orientation. -Ability to prioritize work for efficient and timely processing. -Ability to work collaboratively to troubleshoot and solve problems. -Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and handle multiple tasks and priorities. -Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people and levels of technical literacy. -Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). -Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional software. -Knowledge of ILLiad interlibrary loan software. Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience working in a higher education library with an integrated library system required OR Master's degree and experience working in a higher education library with an integrated library system (ILS) required. -Formal training in ILLiad software (ILLiad training video library acceptable) required. -Fluency with basic computer operations required. Preferred Qualifications: -Minimum of one years' experience supervision preferred. -Training in course reserve processing in an integrated library system (ILS) preferred. -Experience with DOCLINE or other similar commercial document providers preferred.
