 Give the Gift of Gardens Membership
The UT Gardens is happy to announce the return of our Better Homes & Gardens Subscription Program! Each member who joins or renews on October 24, 2013 through September 30, 2014 will be offered a free one-year subscription to Better Homes & Gardens magazine (digital or print edition). Current subscribers will receive a one-year extension of their subscription. You will receive a card with your membership letter which you can then redeem for your free subscription. This membership benefit is made possible through the UT Gardens' membership in the American Public Gardens Association (APGA).

Garden Sprouts: Hand-made Decorations
Friday, Dec. 13, 10-11:30 am Cost: $8/member, $12/nonmember
Deck the halls with your very own decorations. This class will take a look at how early settlers decorated their homes for the holidays. Come and make a few decorations for you to take home or give away as gifts this holiday season.

 

Adult Workshop: Wreath Making
Saturday, Dec. 14, 1-3 pm Cost: $30/member, $40/nonmember Celebrate the holidays with a fresh wreath. This is one of our most popular classes so don't wait to register. You will be provided with fresh greens, cones, assorted decorations and ribbon. You also may bring any unusual greens you have or your favorite ornament to add to your festive creation.

 

Growing Healthy: Container Gardening During the Winter
Tuesday, Dec. 17, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Cost: Free Join the UT Gardens and East Tennessee Children's Hospital and learn how to grow herbs and vegetables indoors. This program is for children and their families.
