Geography majors, This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable research and field experiences in one of the most idyllic settings in the entire Southeast. I’ve participated at two events at the Mountain Lake Biological Station (where I originally met fellow faculty member Dr. Sally Horn for the first time) as have several of my former students, and I can attest to the positive experiences you will gain from participating in this REU program.
