Assistant Professor/Web Services Librarian Health Sciences Library and Biocommunication Center University of Tennessee Health Science Center
 
The Assistant Professor/Web Services librarian has primary responsibility for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the library web site and web pages; tracks user trends, assesses user needs and preferences, explores new technologies and makes improvements to the web site design based on this information. A primary focus of this position is to market and promote library services and resources to key stakeholders through the library web site. The Web Services librarian will also provide leadership in building staff awareness of new and emerging technologies to improve library services and workflow. 
 
Minimum requirement of a graduate degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited library school and at least two years of experience in a library.
 
This is a 12-month, full-time, nontenure-track faculty appointment.
 
Salary: $50,000 minimum.
