Please be aware that South Tennessee Counseling Association is sponsoring a Safe Schools Conference on Saturday, October 19 at Motlow State Community College.

Topics and presenters are:
What to Report? What are the Laws? presented by Department of Children's Services representatives
Recognize Signs and Symptoms and How to Respond and Prevent Sexual Assault presented by Sexual Assault Center counselors
Long Term Residential Care Facility for Boys presented by Arrowhead Ranch speakers
At Risk Youth presented by Dr. Wanda Shelton, Director of Lincoln County Schools

Cost (lunch provided): Early Bird by October 4: $20 Educators and Parents; $15 College Students

After October 4th: $30 for Educators, Parents, and College Students

Credit awarded: Six hours in-service credit pending approval by your local school system

Extra credit for some college students
