Issues Committee is
hosting Joel Stein on Thursday, October 10th at 7pm in the UC Auditorium.
Author of the book
"Man Made: A Stupid Quest for Masculinity" and Time Magazine columnist,
Joel Stein has often referred to himself as a "gay man trapped in a
straight man's body". He began his career as a journalist, but became
prominent for his humorous and thought-provoking pieces about masculine
identities and raising a son in the twenty-first century.
To prepare for his
upcoming lecture (November 7th) CPC's Visual Arts Committee and Film
Committee are proud to screen ‘Beauty is Embarrassing-The Wayne
White Story' NEXT Friday, October 11th at 7pm in the UC Auditorium.
Beauty Is Embarrassing is a funny, irreverent, joyful and inspiring
documentary featuring the life and current times of one of America’s
most important artists, Wayne White.
