I'm All Vol: Your Story Could Be Here
What do we mean when we say All Vol? Tradition. Power. Spirit. Service. Diversity. Civility. Leadership. But most important — Volunteers. We want to highlight why YOU are All Vol, giving other students on campus a chance to get to know who you are. You can share your favorite Tennessee memories, experiences, and college advice.
Want a chance to share your story? Tell or show us why you are All Vol by using the hashtag #allvol on Twitter and Instagram. Your post could be chosen for a full "I'm All Vol" story in an upcoming Student@Tennessee.
It's time to prove how strong the Vol spirit is by taking on Gator fans during the 2013 Tailgate Blood Drive competition. You can donate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today through Friday at UC Rooms 223 and 225. You'll receive a "brick by brick" t-shirt and free treats from area restaurants. Other campus locations include:
-Today: until 4:00 p.m. at the Institute of Agriculture
Don't forget to request your tickets for the South Alabama football game this Wednesday and Thursday by visiting Big Orange Tix. Tickets for the following home game, against Georgia, will be available for request on September 25 and 26.
Have you asked your parents to join you on Rocky Top for Fall Family Weekend? Set for Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, this weekend is a great way to experience campus life with your family.
The weekend begins with the Fall Fest Street Fair and a concert on Friday night. On Saturday, start off at the Big Orange Tailgate and then head over to the game.
The second annual Fall Fest Street Fair will be a great way to showcase your student organization and recruit new members in an involvement fair-type setting, but with a twist!
The September 27 fair will be followed by a concert by JohnnySwim and a film showing of The Great Gatsby. Registration forms must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on September 23.
Are you a dog lover? If so, you're invited to join Team UTCVM and walk with your dog or walk in memory of a beloved pet in the third K9 Cancer Walk this Sunday. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Morris Animal Foundation. You do not have to bring a pet to participate in the walk.
