It is an academic year appointment. Teaching and research responsibilities are required with demonstrated interests in one or more areas of the curriculum, e.g.,: management, knowledge management, information technology, information resources and services, knowledge organization, data curation, digital libraries/archives or health informatics. Candidates should be prepared to teach in the graduate level core, and may also be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) program. Opportunities exist to work with doctoral students in the College, and to shape the evolution of an exciting new degree program. Qualifications: Requires a minimum of an earned doctorate or ABD at the time of offer with expected completion date of August, 2014. Field of study must be in library and information science or a closely related area. As part of the doctoral program, strong candidates should demonstrate good academic training, successful teaching experience, and a strong record of research in relevant areas of interest to College faculty and students.
