Dear Communicators:

With the help of the campus community, our office introduced a new set of brand identity guidelines in February 2012. The resulting brand book and supporting resources (http://communications.utk.edu/resources/) have provided everyone across campus a platform from which to communicate consistently and effectively about the university. We've learned a lot over the last 18 months, thanks in large part to the feedback we've received from working with campus communicators. Our goal to continue strengthening the university's reputation is made possible with your help and guidance.

On Friday, September 27, at 10:00 a.m., members of the Office of Communications and Marketing will host a workshop and Q&A on the university's brand identity. The one-hour session will meet in Room 202 of the Haslam Business Building. No reservation is required.

The workshop will provide an overview of the university's core messages, graphic identity and editorial style guidelines, web templates, and available brand resources. We will also field questions and comments about utilizing and working within the university's brand identity, as well as provide some insight into what's on the horizon.

We look forward to seeing you on the 27th.

Erik
