Emporia State University’s School of Library and Information Management is pleased to welcome Dr. Janet Capps to the faculty starting fall 2013. Dr. Capps received her Ph.D. from The Florida State University
School of Library and Information Studies. She recently completed a 2-year post-doctoral position with The Ohio State University Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy. Dr. Capps brings an LIS perspective to reading research investigations and
her research involves technology in learning environments, early literacy, community partnerships, and public library collaborations plus expertise in data collection and management, and statistical analysis.
