Dear Ann, Jesse, Jake et al.

As a service, at the Institute of Zoology we offer qPCR – price dependent on sample numbers and other circumstances.  Similarly, we offer a qPCR service for Bd.

Of course, we are able to conduct a much wider range of ranavirus and Bd investigations for research purposes.

I hear the meeting went well.

With best wishes

Andrew

Hi Ann,

That is something that the GRC was planning on offering. Perhaps we can use this opportunity to push up our due-date.

Would those offering diagnostic services email me a list of what you can offer and the terms. For instance, my lab can perform quantitative real time PCR and isolate and titer live ranaviruses, but we generally only do small numbers of samples or collaborate with others on larger projects; we are not a fee-for-service operation. I have a web page with instructions for submission here: http://public.wsu.edu/~jesse.brunner/samples.html

I'm sure there are others and it would be very useful to put together a list. We will add a page with this information on the GRC website once we revise it.

I am looking for a current list of all of the laboratories offering diagnostic testing for ranavirus for inclusion in the Infectious Disease Manual of the American Association of Zoo Vets.  I’ve looked around the GRC website, and am not finding this resource.  Anyone know of such a list?
