Central Program Council Events 8.21.13-8.28.13 CPC is ready to close out Welcome Week with a BANG! Check out all our activities below for ways to get inVOLved this weekend! Be sure to check out the Student inVOLvement Fair THIS FRIDAY (August 23rd) on Pedestrian Walkway from 7-11pm. Students will have an opportunity to meet with student organizations as well as local businesses to learn more about how to get involved on and off campus. On Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30-5:30 the Central Program Council (CPC) will host an annual interest meeting that affords all students an opportunity to learn about programs coming to campus in 2013-2014 and to glean information about joining one of the seven committees of the CPC. Students will also learn about the GO website and CPC will use the session as an opportunity to plug the Vol Night Long & Student InVOLvement Fair happening the following day. Campus Entertainment Board Come out to Humanities Ampitheatre for Vol Night Long this Friday (August 23rd) from 10pm-2am! The theme is Beach Boardwalk so come prepared for carnival style games, FREE food, inflatables and DJ Logan Garrett! Visual Arts Committee Remember your first week at the University of Tennessee by participating in the photo booth located in the University Center! Take a photo strip to keep with you and one to post on the wall of the UC Concourse Gallery during the month of August! Then come back each year to document new friends, new relationships and maybe even a new hair color! Photobooth will be in the UC now through Friday August 23rd. Super Art Fight will be performing as part of the Student InVOLvement Fair. Be sure to come out to Humanities Ampitheatre at 7pm on Friday August 23rd to witness the (self-described) GREATEST LIVE ART COMPETITION IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE.
