Pay Grade 36. Library Supervisor I, UT Libraries - Pendergrass Agriculture & Veterinary Medicine Library - 2nd Shift Differential (evenings); Sunday – Thursday; hours vary depending on library schedule. Solely responsible for library 29 hours a week, providing public services, instruction, and technology support to library users.
Required: Bachelor’s degree or associate's degree or certificate in computer or information technology; Library experience or two years work experience involving teaching or interaction with the public; Demonstrated experience with computers, including customer support, training, problem-solving; Experience with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point); Excellent communication and critical thinking skills; Willingness to work independently and make decisions. Preferred: Supervisory experience; Courses or experience in computer or information science; Expertise with Mac equipment and software; Expertise with graphic design software such as Acrobat, Photoshop, PageMaker, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash; Evidence of website development and maintenance; Design skills and experience creating paper and digital brochures and publications; Experience managing social media communications.
