Information ethics is a topic and/or course frequently taught in masters and doctoral level library and information science (LIS) degree programs. Information ethics has become an interdisciplinary and intercultural topic. Issues raised in information ethics affect society as well as professional ethics. A panel will share three research papers exploring how LIS educators have created opportunities for innovation in content, pedagogy, curriculum, and practice in the teaching of information ethics. Examples of possible research topics include:

interdisciplinary content for teaching topics in information ethics;

curriculum outcomes, instructional strategies, and learning activities for teaching current topics in information ethics; and,

initiation of university and/or private enterprises for teaching topics in information ethics.
