Access Services Librarian (Replacement)
Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for the full-time position of Access Services Librarian. The Access Services Librarian performs planning, administrative and technical tasks in support of access Services of the Carnegie-Vincent Library. This position provides supervision of the Access Services unit which consists of a full-time library assistant, a part-time librarian, the Interlibrary Loan Librarian and indirect supervision of student assistants. This unit provides circulation and reserves services, periodicals, reference and main stack maintenance and interlibrary loan services. Also responsible for providing reference assistance and reference collection development. Occasionally may provide library instruction and collection development in various subject areas. Qualifications; Required: M.L.S. from an ALA accredited program, minimum of two years supervisory experience; broad knowledge of software and technology used to perform office, administrative and instructional functions such as Microsoft Office applications; electronic mail such as Outlook. Must have flexibility in work hours, some late evening and weekend hours are required. Review of applications will begin immediately.
