Folks,
The UT library has been working on getting several new journals that we have requested. I have good news here on the journal "Anthropocene."
Looks like access will be a little clunky for awhile, but will then improve. See below for detailed instructions for access.
Sincerely,
Sally Horn

Subject: New Order Request for the ejournal Anthropocene from Elsevier
Hi, Greg,
Recently we received a new order request for the e-journal Anthropocene that is published by Elsevier. As you noted, this is a newly launched title and is free online for 2013. It is what ScienceDirect calls its “Freedom Collection” for 2013. Freedom Collection is their name for unsubscribed titles that we are granted access.
Corey will be working on a new ScienceDirect contract to begin 2014. We will be sure that this title becomes part of our “subscribed” titles as part of the new 2014 multi-year contract.
For now, you can access this by going to the database page, select or type in ScienceDirect. At the top of the page, there is a box “Journal” – type in the name of the journal there.
We will discuss with Erin and Maribeth how to update the Freedom Collection links and add to SFX (“e-journals” page).
Please let Val and Carol know if you have any questions or problems accessing it.
