 Job Description

The Senior Librarian manages and administers a state library program
through planning, implementation, and coordination with other library
programs and public or school libraries, agencies, or states; and provides
consultative services to other libraries in the areas of development and
operations to ensure the effective delivery of library services and the
accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the program.

This position serves as the federally mandated State Data Coordinator to
ensure collection and submission of required annual statistical data from
all public and school libraries in the state. Duties include:

   - oversees the collection of data and design of collection tools and
   determines software vendor to use;
   - provides training and technical expertise to libraries on submitting
   data;
   - reviews and edits final data;
   - oversees the release and publication of final statistical data.

 Desired Skills & Experience

Master's or bachelor's degree in Library and Information Management or
Library Science. At least two years experience as a practicing librarian is
preferred.

skills; marketing savvy; ability to use and manipulate data to glean
insights into content use and information trends

• Thorough understanding of metadata standards such as Dublin Core, EAD,

• Comfortable using tools like text editors and command line interfaces to
manipulate files, and occasionally edit scripts and XML records

The Marketing Manager, Library Products is responsible for developing and
implementing product marketing and communication plans for flagship and new
library products and solutions. Responsibilties also include product
planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
