*LAC Group* is seeking a *Project Director* for a potential long-term
contract with a prestigious federal agency located in Washington, D.C. We
are recruiting for several subject matter experts to run a critical
information center for this agency. These positions are contingent upon
award. The expected start date will be in summer 2013.

Qualifications:

   - Demonstrated expertise and experience supervising the work of a team
   of at least 15 professionals and the overall quality of their work on many
   tasks simultaneously.
   - Demonstrated ability to manage a large staff that includes not only
   education researchers, but also communications experts, web production
   staff, administrative and knowledge management staff, and subcontractors.
   - Demonstrated ability to adhere to project schedules, keep costs within
   budget, and effectively manage the work of subcontractors
   - Expertise in running large scale operations
   - Highly experienced in disseminating information to a large audience
   - Demonstrated familiarity with communicating complex scientific and
   technical information in a user-friendly and intuitive manner
   - Evidence of successful experience overseeing the collection,
   management, and analysis of large scale databases, including qualitative
   and quantitative data
   - Time and willingness to commit a minimum of 70 percent time (FTE) to
   the project over the term of the contract
   - Experience utilizing and providing content for the federal Education
   Resources Information Center (ERIC) preferred.

*LAC Group* seeks a *Conflicts Analyst* for a prestigious corporate client
located in Boston, MA. The Conflict Analyst is responsible for performing
conflict checks, assisting in the resolution of actual or potential
conflicts and coordinating the case intake process. Responsibilities also
include assistance with various projects undertaken by the legal team, at
the direction of in-house legal counsel the Conflict and Compliance Manager.


Responsibilities:

   - Conflict Checks - Research requests for client conflict checks using
   Elite and other on-line resources, and assist in the identification of
   potential conflicts;
   - Together with the Conflict and Compliance Manager, assist in the
   resolution of conflicts which requires interaction with legal counsel, the
   conflict committee and managing principals and senior staff;
   - Create and maintain information screens between conflicting cases
   using IntApp and other resources, to ensure compliance with such
   information screens;
   - Prepare necessary reports to support the conflict, intake and case
   management function;
   - Work with the finance team in the management and operation of Elite to
   ensure case, client and related party information is comprehensive and
   accurate;
   - Research – Conduct database research for new case leads;
   - Contract Management - Work with others in the legal department to
   track and review case-related documents such as engagement letters and
   nondisclosure agreements to ensure compliance with restrictions or
   agreed-upon terms and provide other contract management functions as
   necessary.

 Qualifications:

   - Strong interpersonal skills;
   - Strong PC capability; Word, Excel, SharePoint experience; experience
   with billing/conflicts databases;
   - Equivalent work experience in a professional service firm;
   - Bachelor’s degree required;
   - Excellent written and oral communication skills;
   - Willingness to work a flexible schedule dictated by business needs;
   - Research skills.

 Job Description

Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, one of Delaware’s largest and most
respected law firms, has a current opening for an experienced Library and
Knowledge Manager.

The Library & Knowledge Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and
the Library Partner and plays a leading role in the collection, management
and organization of the firm’s physical and electronic research resources
and intellectual property. The LKM promotes the use of collaborative tools
to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams. The LKM
maintains the firm’s library collection, supervises library support staff,
coordinates knowledge management (KM) initiatives, including developing and
maintaining the firm’s Knowledge Banks.

Primary Responsibilities

   - Develop, implement and promote KM initiatives
   - Collaborate with attorneys and staff for information gathering for
   Knowledge Banks
   - Coordinate KM, data collection and process integration initiatives
   - Keep abreast of developments in information technology pertaining to
   the library and to KM
   - Formulate action plans for the library and KM resources, develop an
   annual budget for the library and monitor spending compliance with the
   budget
   - Investigate new research resources, technologies and techniques
   - Analyze, design and utilize electronic systems for easier distribution
   of information
   - Participate in the design, development and implementation of business
   workflow solutions resulting in enhanced enterprise data integrity and

   representatives of physical and electronic research tools
   - Undertake other duties as assigned by the firm management


Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements

   - Previous experience in a law firm environment managing a library
   and/or KM resources strongly preferred
   - A four-year degree required. MLS or JD degree preferred.
   - Outstanding analytical, organizational and communication skills, both
   written and verbal
   - Functions well in a team environment and is able to build
   collaborative relationships, while also being able to work independently
   - Experience with a variety of electronic information services and the
   ability to instruct others in their use
   - Advanced computer (Word, Excel, DMS, *SharePoint 2010*) and electronic
     research skills
   - Highly motivated and results-driven
