Cheek invites all UT students to join him for a late-night pancake supper on Wednesday, April 24. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. on the second floor of Hodges Library. It will continue until 10:30 p.m. or until the food runs out, whichever comes first. Cheek and the vice chancellors will be serving pancakes and toppings, bacon and sausage, and orange juice. Current UT students will not use uTrack. The new system will go online this fall for all first-year students. It will begin tracking transfer students who enroll in the summer or fall of 2015. Winners Ryan Woldruff, Daniel Wallace, Tawnysha Greene, Stephanie Duggers, and Christian Anton Gerard will read. http://www.lib.utk.edu/wil/ --- Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson will give an energy and environmental policy talk at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in the Baker Center's Toyota Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Students can purchase tickets for $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show with valid UT ID at either the Central Ticket Office in the UC or the Thompson-Boling Arena box office. Alexander is one of Tennessee's two US Senators, a former Governor of Tennessee, and a former UT President. Alexander will give a short talk and be available for one-on-one conversations and photos. Refreshments will be served. UT students raised more than $69,500 for the American Cancer Society. Now it is time to start planning for next year.
