--- Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek invites all UT students to join him for a late-night pancake supper on Wednesday, April 24. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. on the second floor of Hodges Library. It will continue until 10:30 p.m. or until the food runs out, whichever comes first. Cheek and the vice chancellors will be serving pancakes and toppings, bacon and sausage, and orange juice. Everything is free.

--- You may be hearing more about uTrack, the new system to help students stay on track to an on-time graduation.

Current UT students will not use uTrack. The new system will go online this fall for all first-year students. It will begin tracking transfer students who enroll in the summer or fall of 2015.

--- The UT chapter of the Student Dental Association will host a Kaplan representative to discuss the Dental Admission Test, 6:00 p.m. tonight in Buehler/Dabney 415.

--- The student winners of the Graduate Writing Awards will read poetry and fiction tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Hodges Library auditorium. Winners Ryan Woldruff, Daniel Wallace, Tawnysha Greene, Stephanie Duggers, and Christian Anton Gerard will read.

--- Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson will give an energy and environmental policy talk at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in the Baker Center's Toyota Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public. Richardson was US ambassador to the United Nations and the Secretary of Energy in the Clinton administration.

--- The UT chapter of the American Water Resources Association is hosting the "Water Love Fest," 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Relix Variety Theatre. Events include a screening of the film "Watershed" narrated by Robert Redford, raffle prizes, and live music. Free and open to the public, but a $5 donation is recommended and appreciated. Questions? --- VOLAPALOOZA 2013 is Friday, April 26, at Thompson-Boling Arena featuring TYGA with special guests Beats Antique and DJ Mike Nasty. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Students can purchase tickets for $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show with valid UT ID at either the Central Ticket Office in the UC or the Thompson-Boling Arena box office. General admission tickets are $25 online at www.KnoxvilleTickets.com and $30 at the Thompson-Boling Arena box office the day of the show. --- As you study for finals next week, take a break with US Senator Lamar Alexander on Monday, April 29, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. in UC 221. Alexander is one of Tennessee's two US Senators, a former Governor of Tennessee, and a former UT President. Alexander will give a short talk and be available for one-on-one conversations and photos. Refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.

--- The Rocky Top Institute is holding its 2013 Pride of the Southland Marching Band T-shirt design competition. The shirts will be worn during the 2013 season for practice, travel, and casual band events. The competition is open to all current UT students. --- Are you moving out of the dorms? Would you like to lighten your move-out load? Goodwill's annual UT Summer Send Off is April 26 to May 13. Donate your unused items and gently used clothing that you don't wear anymore or just don't want. Donation bins will be placed in residence hall lobbies.
