There are just a few seats left for our “App Advisory 101” webinar, which is being held tomorrow (Thursday)!

Registration is open through the end of the day today (Wednesday).

Here are the details:

App Advisory 101
April 18, 2:00-3:30p.m. Central

Hosted by the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), ALA’s home for readers’ advisory.

Readers’ advisory has long been an important part of reference services, but with the explosion in the popularity of smartphones and tablets over the past several years, app advisory is becoming equally  important. Participants in this webinar will hear about the latest and greatest apps for a range of different audiences and interests, and will also be introduced to the best tools for keeping up-to-date on new apps as they emerge.

Who Should Attend: Any library staff member who is responsible for responding to patron requests regarding apps and who is interested in learning more about them would benefit from attending. In particular, the webinar will be well-suited to reference and/or young adult librarians and library staff from public and academic libraries.
