*LAC Group* is seeking* Record Management Professionals* to provide the
highest quality records management expertise and service for a contract
with a prestigious federal government agency located in Washington DC.   The
Record Management Professionals are responsible for implementing efficient
processes for managing the client’s records throughout their lifecycle in a
timely, compliant and accurate manner.  This hands-on position is expected
to offer recommendations, training and management of the solution provided
to the client based on previous Records education and experience while
partnering with the Records Group to continuously supply change management
aptitude and implement Records best practices.

Responsibilities:

   - Responsible for the records and information management program for a
   federal agency;
   - Oversees the smooth processing, sorting, classification and coding of
   materials for integration into systems;
   - Responsible for the timely retrieval and referencing of needed
   information;
   - Analyzes the Records Management needs of the client(s) and develops
   programs that respond to these needs;
   - Undertakes audits of records created and stored within the
   organization;
   - Develops programs for the distribution, retrieval and storage of
   records, including new information technologies into the organization and
   client;
   - Creates and maintains databases for the control and retrieval of
   information;
   - Ensures all aspects of record keeping adhere to relevant corporate
   policy or client policy;
   - Ensures records are disposed of or archived according to client policy;
   - Assists in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans to
   ensure that the organization or client has the necessary information to
   continue functioning in the event of a major disaster;
   - Works closely with all staff members to ensure that information
   systems of the organization meet their needs and contribute to
   organizational objectives;
   - Ensures quality control metrics on daily work performed and measures
   against goals;
   - Analyzes and compile monthly statistical reporting metrics on records
   and information management;
   - Implements and formulates procedures, rules, records and information
   management policies and procedures;
   - Utilizes expertise to evaluate manual and/or automated records systems;
   - Provides assistance to users in controlling costs associated with
   information creation, storage and retrieval.

*LAC Group* seeks a dynamic* Competitive Intelligence Analyst *to work for
our client, an international law firm, located in Los Angeles, CA.   The
Competitive Intelligence Analyst will work closely with the Firm’s library,
research and information Services, and marketing and business development
and have responsibility for conducting research and analysis to support the
Firm’s competitive intelligence efforts.

Responsibilities:

   - Provide information to internal decision makers to drive innovative
   operational and strategic business decisions;
   - Ongoing research to identify industry trends;
   - Create business intelligence reports of research findings for
   development and strategy meetings;
   - Proactively track, monitor and analyze data on firm practices and
   industry areas;
   - Support marketing and awareness efforts of the Firm’s competitive
   intelligence services.

Required Experience:

   - Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science, Law or Business
   Administration;
   - At least 5 years of experience with competitive analysis/intelligence
   or complex on-line research;
   - Strong online research skills including experience using industry
   specific tools such as Lexis/Nexis, Courtlink, AtVantage, CapitallQ,
   Hoover’s, and ALM Research Online;
   - Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and basic web
   technologies;
   - The proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work accurately
   under pressure;
   - Strong verbal & written communication and customer service skills are
   needed;
   - A Master’s Degree and previous experience within a large law firm
   environment or other professional service organization is desired
