My name is Abby Strain and I am an AmeriCorps member with CAC AmeriCorps Knoxville.

I am currently recruiting volunteers for this year's EarthFest, Knoxville's Earth Day Celebration. This event will take place on Saturday, April 20th, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at Pellissippi State's Hardin Valley Campus. We are currently short on volunteers, so please, let me know if you are interested in volunteering for EarthFest and/or if could recruit a number of individuals to volunteer as a group. This should be a fun event!

We are looking for volunteers for the following shifts:
    Friday, April 19th: Set-Up (Morning &Afternoon)
    Saturday, April 20th: Event Day (Morning, Midday, & Afternoon)
    Sunday, April 21st: Clean-up (Morning)

I have attached an excel spreadsheet, in case this is helpful to those of you who are able to recruit a group, however, anyone can sign up to volunteer online.

If you sign up to volunteer on the day of the event, Saturday, April 20th, I will send you an email to ask which stations you prefer to work. Station assignments will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please see the attachment with the descriptions of the different stations.
