Tenure-track position, Assistant Professor School of Information Studies, McGill University The School of Information Studies (SIS), one of the four academic units in the Faculty of Education at McGill University, invites an application for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2013. Qualified candidates should hold a doctoral degree in information studies or a related discipline, and should have demonstrated experience in teaching, research and contributions to professional communities. Research expertise is sought in Information and Knowledge Management (taxonomies, data mining, intelligence studies, knowledge transfer, organizational learning) and Curation and Preservation (digital archives, records management, authenticity, cultural heritage management, museum studies). Applicants with experience in multidisciplinary research in any of these areas are particularly welcome. The successful candidate will teach courses at the graduate level, conduct research, and advise and supervise master's and doctoral students. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
