CenterScope Technologies, Inc., contractor for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Library, has an opening for a Technical Services Librarian (full-time).
Job Location:  Research Triangle Park, NC

Position Description:

Responsible for all technical services functions including cataloging,  interlibrary loan, collection management and assessment, and circulation.  The technical services librarian serves as back-up for the reference librarian and will also assist with special projects and marketing of the library. The librarian must have thorough knowledge of library principles, concepts, methodology, operation, and functions.

The incumbent must have an ALA-accredited master's degree in library or information science. Staff shall embody the professional competencies outlined by FEDLINK and the Special Libraries Association.  Three years of library experience preferred and a background or experience in science or work in scientific / biomedical collections a plus.
