Congratulations to Amy Phillips, PhD '12, for taking third
place in the 2013 ALISE/Jean Tague Sutcliffe Doctoral Student Research
Competition! In this competition, posters are judged on the significance
of the research topic to the
LIS field, the appropriateness of research design and methodology, and a
concise description of the results, as well as on the organization,
clarity, and aesthetics of the poster. Dr. Phillips earned her
doctorate from Dominican University GSLIS in August 12, 2012. Her
award-winning poster was based on her dissertation, "Framing the Public
Library: The Public Perception of the Public Library in the Media."
Please join Dominincan in congratulating Dr. Phillips on this
achievement!
