If you are heading to the ALISE Annual Conference next week, consider attending the 9th Annual Web Based Information Science Education (WISE) Workshop: Inquiry across time and space. Speakers, Nicole Cooke and Karla Lucht (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and Michael Stephens (San Jose State University), will discuss online course design, community building, and participatory culture. Additionally, you are invited to share questions and/or comments related to online education in advance. Time permitting, these ideas will be incorporated into the session.
