Greetings, The Federal Highway Administration has a vacancy open for a freight analyst. This position is located in the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Resource Center with the Planning/Freight Technical Services Team. The freight analyst will serve as one of the Resource Center's freight experts, operating as a member of a national (virtual) team. The ideal candidate for this position is a mid-career professional with extensive analytical skills and experience in either transportation planning, economics or operations research. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and is comfortable representing the agency to a diverse audience. The position can be filled in the metropolitan Atlanta, Chicago (Matteson), Baltimore or Denver (Lakewood) Resource Center offices.
